Diet books are kind of like toaster pastries – no sooner has one hit the shelves than another one pops up. There seems to be an almost endless line of nutrition advice parading by at any given moment. Avoid carbs! Eat only fruit! Schedule meals! Eat according to your blood type…or your age…or your address. Okay, we made that last one up. The point is that there are a lot of myths and misconceptions out there about when, how and what to eat.
